Jerrod has been blessed to grow up in a Godly Christian home. His parents, John and Bev Leonard are missionaries to Brazil. At age he 4 made a profession of faith. He knew even at that young age that he was a sinner and needed a Savior. God really spoke to Jerrod’s heart his senior year of High School and he felt God had set him apart for ministry. He went off to college and did a year internship at a church in Michigan after that. He has served as a youth leader at Saylorville in the past and now serves as our Children’s Ministry Director. Jerrod knows that these younger years are so formative in kids’ lives and is excited to partner with parents in helping their kids come to Christ so that they have their whole lives to serve HIM.
