Jacob has attended Saylorville Church all his life. He grew up going to Saylorville Kids ministries and in 4th grade trusted Jesus as his Savior. It was because of a lesson in the book of Judges that Jacob realized he was going to be judged by God because of his sin and needed Jesus to save him. Jacob graduated high school in 2020 and attended The Masters University in California in 2022-23 and DMACC in 2023-24. He then, in the Spring of 2024, was called to go into full time ministry and is now pursuing a Pastoral Studies degree at Faith Baptist Bible College in Ankeny. While he works toward his degree, Jacob has joined the Saylorville staff as a part-time Custodial Assistant. Jacob also serves in the same kids ministries that led him to salvation in Jesus Christ.
